Ever found yourself sweeping dust into a dustpan, and you still have dirt on the floor that didn't get into a dustpan? Simply place the dustpan on the floor and cut a piece of duct tape as wide as your dustpan. Stick one half to the dustpan and other half on floor. This way you can collect every bit of dirt then simply remove the tape and empty contents into the trash.
